Swann Insurance is one of Australia’s leading providers of motorcycle insurance.
Their website delivers 60% of the leads coming through the business, but in terms of quantity, “unfortunately, it wasn’t delivering the results expected.” said Rita, Marketing Manager
Swann’s marketing team had the tricky task of improving the website’s usability and quoting tool, at the same time as improving conversion rates.
TestMate’s bespoke solution for Swann was to create three unique, targeted rounds of testing:
- Wireframe Testing
- Design Testing
- Staging Testing
This iterative testing was a vital factor in achieving to the end result.
TestMate worked with Swann’s marketing team to come up with a Test Plan and Survey for motorcycle enthusiasts. The next stage was conducting in-depth user testing research through their website to evaluate navigation and review the quoting tool.
Involving both the marketing team and the website team at Swann in each stage of the user testing process was key.
Most importantly, Swann could quickly evaluate, validate, and iterate on product ideas that had an impact on revenue and conversions.
Swann has seen several concrete results from their research. The most effective one was the change to their website’s main tagline.
During discovery, the team noticed two reasons why visitors were not starting the quote: they did not know how long it was going to take and they were not ready with all the required information.
