Google my business: let’s get snapping

You’ve probably been there. You’re away for a long weekend and fancy Italian, but don’t know your way around the local joints. You’re browsing Google maps and after a couple of minutes click on a restaurant listing around the corner from your hotel. Thirty seconds and a few glances over the pics and your mind is made up - the food just looks so mouth-watering!

And that’s why adding eye-catching photos and punchy video content is a super-simple way to engage, impact and reel in potential customers. Even better, by allowing happy customers to upload their own content to your listing, you can let them show off your product for you.

But you don’t have to just take our word for it. Google themselves have talked about the serious impact of optimising your listing: businesses with photos see 35% more clicks to their website and 42% more requests for driving directions in Google Maps.
